Universal Rock Band Sunrise in a desert land Bug fly bugging the band Broke a string in the middle of the show Bending fender during his guitar solo Cat nap on a moving bus Big crowd adrenaline rush Every town looks the same Don't forget to call them by name Chorus Universal rock band has arrived Tough business but they survived Universal rock band blows you away Their show is worth the money you paid Lights go down the band steps up Walking glow sticks like a line of ducks Not a problem and all plugged in Ladies and gentleman the show begins Anticipation builds as they get ready to start The introduction man does his part The hottest band in the world But not as hot as those pretty girls Drummer solos for a little while In comes the bass man and everybody smiles Keyboard player takes us on a ride The horns are there to give that music a rise Then the guitar man blows an amp Crank it up and walk that ramp The wildest guitar solo ever made He does a different jam every day Bridge Paul is dead, don't say that to me Woke him up out of a bad dream He thought he was on stage Took a bad step and fell in a grave Wake up, you're having a nightmare

You Need To Take Your Meds You can tell when he needs his meds His mouth starts moving and he shakes his head He gets grouchy and raises his voice Out of control like he has no choice Nobody wants to be around him He is starting to do it again Somebody yelled out to his surprise He finally shut up and realized Chorus You need to take your meds You got anger in your head You need to take your meds You said things you shouldn't have said Usually, when he doesn't forget The nicest guy you could ever have met But he sometimes just goes off Running his mouth until he gets tossed He just needs to not forget his pills He's alright and he's actually pretty chilled But he went on a rampage with his mouth An important meeting and he was tossed out Bridge His medicine keeps him in check But sometimes he forgets He'll come back tomorrow and be okay Never mind about yesterday The medicine is working

Unlimited 07:10
The Possibilities Are Unlimited A big black spider in the corner of my room Skeletons in my closet and witches on brooms Snot coming from his nose Naked lady with no clothes A river over flowing its banks Tornado chasers driving tanks Candy canes on Christmas trees Winter snow and icy breeze Chorus The possibilities are unlimited I can tell you just for the fun of it I put some pictures in your head You see it clearly with the words I said Hippie toking a big bamboo bong Beautiful woman singing a song Rats in the sewer snakes in the weeds Sick people coughing and spreading disease Something pleasing like a rainbow Something icky like a slimy toad Even Godzilla made the show Mothra, Ghidra, and Pinocchio Bridge Submarine races, girl with braces Parked and sparked, kissing for a little while Nine months later, do the alligator Purple people eater meter She don't like the way he treat her

Can’t Get Back To Sleep San Francisco fog coming over the hills Back Door man gives the women a chill Strawberry wine an apple cider drink Foot long hotdog hair balls in the sink Muscle man flexing gave away his change People with signs coming off the freeway lane Best to change the subject and look at pretty skies Sunshine fresh air tasting apple pies Million-dollar project tearing up the roads Pharmacy driver dropping off a load Cop car siren looking into your mirror Woman is crying face full of tears Please have some ice cream and make a smiley face Get yourself a haircut go floating into space Give that man a band-aid he is bleeding on the floor Lock the windows and lock the doors Your brand new t-shirt is a perfect fit I am taking you for ice cream big banana split We can have romance on this sunny day I will not bring up zombies or the boogey man today I still want to kiss you but please wipe your face You got some chocolate remains I can see some trace Stop into the bathroom get a cold splash You can toss the paper towels in their provided trash Chorus I missed the mark when delivering these lines I could work harder and make up better rhymes But it's 4 in the morning I should still be asleep Dreaming of something but I can't get back to sleep There's my favorite spider still in the corner wall It doesn't bother me, at all She took my broom and shove it into death She don't like spiders and think they are pests I could get a bite and I know she's right Best my friendly spider to stay out of sight I think it was a black widow too A red hour glass looked like a tattoo Bridge Kangaroos and elephants, Mrs. Jones High School principal talking on the phone He's a trouble maker, not my kid The truth of the matter is he is guilty what he did Smoking in the bathroom is not allowed in school No bed bugs no cudies in my bed She checked all my sheets and then she read A romance novel reading is fine But I got a feeling that you're going to be mine Your not sleepy don't try to close your eyes I can see you smiling beneath that sigh It's only love and that is all I had it my way and she ended up balled

Fifty Songs 04:32
Fifty Songs He didn't even think he could get one When it came to music he thought he was done Early July he started to watch Tried to start music but everything was botched Picked up a guitar and found a pick Suddenly the music just seemed to click But he still felt the challenge too iffy Then the next thing you know the man's got fifty Chorus Fifty songs, he didn't see that coming Just remind him and he takes off running He can't do that is what he said Fifty songs is over his head Fifty songs is not that hard Even when you are drawing pretty bad cards Poker face and guitar rust Go for it all or simply go bust He can't stop even when he tries He'll probably keep going until he dies Making music is like his drug All it took was to give him a shove Bridge Should he stop or keep on going? Middle of August no way of knowing We think the best is still to come It sounds like he's having lots of fun Fifty songs, is he done?

This Song Is Number 45 The sun is coming up but haven't crossed the horizon Just like me but that's not so surprisin' The problem is I'll need a nap It's kind of like being in a trap But it's quiet now and I can think and write First feed my animals and make things tight Couplet rhymes are best for me But too much talking and not a lot to see Chorus This song is number 45 The next challenge is to keep it alive All depends on what is said Say it wrong and it's certainly dead I've been good about not talking zombies But you know it's going to happen especially with me Their dead, Their slow, Their all messed up They ate those people next to their truck Spill that wine dig that girl He spins her around as she does a little twirl Now the sun has reached our horizon We've reached that time it's not surprisin' Bridge 45 a simple write I woke up normal and not uptight Words on paper just the beginning I save the bridge for a twist in the ending It's already time to plug in the guitars

Cooking and Cleaning He has no romance He never takes that chance He is use to being alone He lives inside a home But he plays guitar Act as if he is a star Put up songs on the board You would think it is his chores Cooking and cleaning Making sure things work Cooking and cleaning Making sure he don't get hurt His body is weak He is on a losing weight streak He has things to do But he do as he choose He has to figure this out In the middle of doubt What exactly does he do? How long before he is screwed? Bridge He needs to find a wife He needs to get a life He won't deal with the world He won't try to find a girl But he can still get it up

My Biggest Fear I'm going to forget the lyrics I'm going to crash and burn I need to keep up my spirit I need another chance to learn I have the balls to open mic I hope the crowd doesn't bite No way I can pull this off Just get on my guitar and take off My biggest fear is a crash and burn I won't remember when it's my turn I blow the lyrics forget the chords People will sit and listen bored That was last time this is new I got the balls and I got the screws I'm going to play and everybody will like When I get on that stage for open mic I won't have a drink until I am done I need to get this right and make sure they have fun If I can just get pass this fear Then I drink a six pack of beer Bridge Broke a string in a nightmare On my big audition The producer sigh and shook his head I knew that moment I was dead Well, at least I tried.

Visiting Spirit Chorus Something is happening in his room Things are moving it smells like a tomb He hears it talking inside his head Some kind of entity something dead He said he didn't believe in ghosts Called it hogwash then ate his toast She tried to tell him but he would not listen He tried to smooch her but she would not let him She told him she thinks the house is haunted His response is this is what you wanted But she don't want ghosts in her home They always mess with her when she's alone Chorus One day she left and said goodbye Told him good luck and remind him that she tried Now he's messed up and starting to see The kind of entity he could not agree Now he's running but she is nowhere to be found He wouldn't listen to her so she left town This ghost shakes his bed and rattles his doors It won't let him leave and it scares him some more Bridge It's a ghost story about this dude Who wouldn't listen and got pretty rude She told him he'd see and left him alone To fight for his life and he don't have no phone Now he is trapped in his haunted house with a Visiting spirit with a Visiting spirit

Money 04:05
Money I want money I want it all Give me money Give me it all I was thinking of robbing the bank But it was another daydream yank All this money and I work for minimum wage I have to guard money behind a cage I dream on at no charge Tell nobody that I'm money starved I just want to buy her something nice But I can't afford to pay the price Chorus One day they called and wanted me to go Somebody important is coming to the show They like my songs and maybe sign a deal If I can pull this off I won't have to steal I'm not going to steal nothing anyways That's just a daydream part of my days Working in a bank guarding the money I have no money to give to my honey Bridge On behalf of myself and the band I hope we passed the audition Sign right here and give us permission I was skeptical and full of suspicion Then I signed and got a check
